I was pitching and got hit in the leg with a softball that came off the bat...?

It came off the pretty hard and was a line drive right to my shin about 3 inches below the knee. It was very painful when it happened and for 3 days after. There is also (6 days after) a nasty bruise and it started hurting again very sharply when I touch it, walk, or move my leg. The area that got the impact is in the center of the bruise and it's redish pink and is still numb to the touch and the whole area of the bruise is still swollen. Also, I can trace my leg bone with my finger and feel an indent where the ball hit directly(the redish pink spot). Is it possible there could be anything wrong with it (other than just a bruise) and should I have it checked out by a doctor?
